The Science Behind Water Restoration

The main goal of water restoration is to restore property damage and prevent health risks from water-related incidents. Too much moisture in a building can lead to mold growth, which is hazardous to your health. Certain types of water can also be dangerous, such as black water or gray water that may contain biohazards.

Using moisture meters and thermal imaging, we track down anywhere water has gotten to your property to assess the damage. Once we identify the areas affected, we remove any standing water and begin the drying and dehumidifying process, discarding what can’t be salvaged and sanitizing what can. We also use antimicrobial treatments to prohibit mold growth.

We Provide Peace of Mind.

“After being told by a national mitigation company that it would take four weeks to complete restoration after a flood, GCS Restoration responded late Friday evening and went to work immediately. GCS Restoration brought truckloads of equipment and people, and we were back to operating at 100% capacity within two and a half weeks. They communicated with us throughout the entire process and kept our minds at ease. I highly recommend working with GCS Restoration.”
